This course is designed for someone with a plumbing or gas background and is a pre-requisite to working within the industry and associated trades.

ACS Domestic Gas Cooking Appliances (CKR1)

Install, exchange, disconnect, service, repair, breakdown and commission gas cooking appliances.

ACS Domestic Open, Balanced And Fan Assisted Fires (HTR1)

Install, exchange, disconnect, service, repair, breakdown and commission domestic open, balanced and fan assisted flued gas fires and wall heaters.

ACS Gas Fired Central Heating/Hot Water Boilers (CENWAT)

Install, exchange, disconnect, service, repair, breakdown and commission domestic gas fired central heating/hot water boilers and circulators up to 60Kw. and gas instantaneous water heating appliances

ACS Domestic Gas Fired Ducted Warm Air Heaters (DAH1)

Installation, commissioning and servicing of direct air heating appliances.

ACS Gas Meters (MET1)

Install, exchange, remove and commission domestic gas meters.

BPEC Energy Efficiency (Short Course)

The one-day course consists of detailed training session which includes the issue of a comprehensive set of documentation to all candidates, this is followed by a 30 question multi-choice open-book assessment.  Candidates will be informed on the assessment recommendation before leaving the centre.

BPEC Gas Foundation Course (Level 2 Programme)

This structured programme provide the 'off site' training that a candidate is required to successfully complete in order to qualify to undertake ACS gas assessment at a BPEC Certification Ltd approved centre.
